Registry Hacks Available to Unlock Hidden Secret Features in Windows 8 Leaked Build

Recently we told you that Windows 8 Milestone 1 build 7850 has been leaked and available on various torrents to download. Since its an old build, several new leaked features are not available in this build like ribbon UI in Explorer, new Modern Task Manager and PDF Reader, etc.
Now Neowin website has shared registry hacks to unlock these hidden features in Windows 8 Milestone 1 build.
Following are a few registry hacks to unlock hidden features in Windows 8 M1 build 7850:

Unlock Ribbon UI in Windows Explorer:

1. Type regedit in RUN or start menu search box and press Enter. It'll open Registry Editor.
2. Now go to following key:

HKEY_CLASS_ROOT\CLSID\{4F12FF5D-D319-4A79-8380-9CC80384DC08}

3. Now in right-side pane, create a new String value AppID and set its value to {9198DA45-C7D5-4EFF-A726-78FC547DFF53}
4. Log off or restart and you'll have Ribbon UI in Explorer.

Unlock Task Manager UI:

1. Go to following key in Registry Editor:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\TaskUI

2. In right-side pane, create a new DWORD value TaskUIEnabled and set its value to 1

Unlock Modern Reader:

1. Go to following key in Registry Editor:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint\Capabilities

2. In right-side pane, create a new String value CLSID and set its value to {D3E34B21-9D75-101A-8C3D-00AA001A1652}
3. Now you can run the Modern Reader by launching glcnd.exe command.

Unlock Webcam:

1. Go to following key in Registry Editor:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\GRE_Initialize

2. In right-side pane, create a new DWORD value RemoteFontBootCacheFlags and set its value to 4111
3. Now you can run Webcam by launching webcam.exe command.
